We’re live! What’s on at LudoNarraCon 2026? Come find out!
59 games in the Official Selection, a stack of new demos, seven fireside chats, and 160+ games on sale until October 15
LudoNarraCon 2026 starts today! We've been counting down the days, and we're so excited to finally welcome you to another year of celebrating incredible narrative games.
If you're new, welcome! We're very happy to have you. LudoNarraCon is our annual digital festival dedicated to narrative games, hosted on Steam and open to players all around the world. Now in its eighth year (!!!), the festival brings together everything we love about gaming conventions: discovering games you might never have stumbled across, getting hands-on with demos, and hearing directly from the people who make them.
If you've joined us before, welcome back! We can't wait to hear which demos steal your heart, what fireside chats got you thinking, and which games you end up diving into.
You might have noticed we're doing things a little differently this year. We've swapped our May dates for October to make room for the launch of the Story-Rich Showcase, our new event dedicated to putting narrative games in the spotlight. It's still the LudoNarraCon you know and love, just with a new spot on the calendar.
We're also particularly excited to welcome Double Fine to LudoNarraCon! It's wonderful having them joining our celebration, especially now that they're back as an independent studio family.
LudoNarraCon 2026 runs from October 8 - 12, with the sale continuing until October 15, so there's plenty of time to explore, discover and find your next fave story. Let's get into everything waiting for you!
What's on this year
We've packed LudoNarraCon 2026 with rad games, fascinating conversations, and plenty of opportunities to discover your next narrative obsession. Here's what we've got lined up:
59 games in the Official Selection: Our curation team has played through hundreds of submissions to handpick 59 incredible games for you to discover
Demos you can play right now: Can't wait to get stuck in? Neither can we! There are plenty of demos to try, from exciting upcoming releases to games that are already out in the world.
Seven fireside chats and four demo streams: Join us on Steam and YouTube for conversations with wonderful people behind the games, plus streams of some of this year's selection. You'll be able to catch them on our YouTube after the event.
More than 160 story-rich games on sale: Looking to pick up a few more stories for your library? We've got fantastic deals on over 160 games until October 15.
The 2026 Official Selection
There's something here for just about every kind of story-loving player. If you're in the mood for something spooky, Neverway blends cosy farming with cosmic horror, About Fishing turns a peaceful day by the water into something unsettling, and Am I Nima asks you to convince your own mother that you really are her daughter.
For those who love a good mystery, there's Prove You're Human where an AI dreams of being human, and There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, a musical mystery about restoring a rundown hotel. If you're after an adventure, Cairn challenges you to conquer a towering mountain, while Relooted takes you on a heist to reclaim African artefacts.
Of course, we're especially excited to share some of our own Fellow Traveller games as part of this year's selection! You'll find Burn-9, Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo: Closure Edition, Nirvana Noir, Penguin Colony, Signet City, The Hearth & Harbour, Titanium Court, and Wander Stars among the lineup. Coming soon from our amazing developers
We've got a few exciting things of our own on the horizon:
Penguin Colony - From ORIGAME DIGITAL, the creator of Umurangi Generation, Penguin Colony takes you to Antarctica in 1939, where two rival human expeditions are about to uncover something ancient and utterly terrifying - and you are a penguin, their only witness. The game launches on October 16, so grab the demo during LudoNarraCon and wishlist ahead of launch!
The Hearth & Harbour - From Saltstone Studios, the creators of The Pale Beyond, The Hearth & Harbour puts you into the shoes of an immigrant who takes on the task of restoring a struggling restaurant called The Silver Spoon. Build relationships, hire staff, plan menus and shape the future of your restaurant and the town. There's a demo to try during LudoNarraCon, too!
Nirvana Noir - From Feral Cat Den, the creators of Genesis Noir, comes the psychedelic narrative adventure spanning two parallel realities: Nirvana Noir. Explore the colourful cosmic worlds of Black Rapture and Constant Testament as you unravel a mystery surrounding a dangerous new threat known as the Bigger Bang.
Signet City - From Jump Over the Age, the creator of the Citizen Sleeper universe and In Other Waters, comes Signet City, a first-person fungalpunk narrative RPG set in a sprawling monochrome metropolis. You are a parasite, in a city where strange technologies and radical ideas are taking root. Grow into and through its inhabitants, uncover and change their stories, and witness the terminal season of the Signet City.
